Salted coconut caramel protein shake - #fedbyZanna

Yes you did hear us correctly,

We are currently in week two of our month long #fedbyZanna menu takeover and although we are almost halfway through, things are certainly not slowing down in flavour town. 

On the menu this week is a Neat Nutrition blended salted coconut caramel protein shake. This delicious shake is seriously flavour punching and perfect for a pre or post training snack, so why not try it after your Lomax class or session?

We thought we would let you in on our secret refined sugar and dairy free caramel shake recipe.


Caramel (makes 1 cup) - 
1 tin full-fat coconut milk
1/2 cup coconut sugar
1/2 tsp sea salt
1/2 tsp vita coco coconut oil

1 - Add the coconut milk & sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat
2 - Let the sugar dissolve completely. stirring every now and then until the mixture darkens to a deep amber colour and you can coat the back of a spoon
3 - Stir in the sea salt and coconut oil
Hey presto! It as easy as that!

To make the shake - 
1  scoop of vanilla whey or vegan Neat Nutrition protein
1 tsp of your delicious salted coconut caramel
250ml Rude Health almond milk  
6 cubes ice
Blend that all together for 10 seconds and you have yourself a seriously delightful protein packed shake, you're welcome!
